Currently we have 3 Pygora bucklings for sale. Cookie Oreo and Cracker. They are 17 days old. DOB June 18 2016.
Dam is Lollie and Sire is Baron. Both can be seen on our site under “additional animals”.
Lollie is a Pygmy goat. She is small in stature and nice conformation. She has had 3 litters (4,2 then 3 kids) All healthy and delivered with no problems.
Baron is a Pygora- 1/2 pygmy and 1/2 Angora. He is small in stature also. He only goes into his rut from late November through January so only “Smells” then. He needs to be sheared twice a year.

These three are very cute and friendly. They have NOT been disbudded as Angoras use their horns to help regulate temperature. They have soft fur but it is not excessively long. But will probably need to be sheared when mature. Their ears are a cross between the pendulous ears of Angora goats and the horizontal ears of pygmy goats.

The kids are still on Mama of course who is taking VERY good care of them. They will be weaned at about 3-5mo depending on when Lollie decided they are ready. We would be willing to sell them now as BOTTLE BABIES with the understanding that they would need to be bottle raised or on a surrogate mama goat until they are at least 3mo. Otherwise they risk undernourishment and health problems.

Currently we are selling our Pygora herd Sire Baron and our Pygora 2yo doe Nooshig.
Baron is 4 maybe 5yo and we have had him for 3 years. He has sired 5 litters of kids for us. He only comes into his rut in November through January like an Angora so only smells then and only breed then. He also is NOT a prolific breeder only breeding about 25% of the herd each year. I do not know about his lineage.

Nooshig is a 2yo Pygora doe whose mother was pure Angora and sire is Baron (50% pygmy 50% angora)
She is small in stature and a gentle doe. She has not been bred yet.

Bot goats have long hair and need to be sheared twice a year. Baron’s fiber is hoary and contains medulated fibers. Nooshig’s fiber is soft and contains very few if any medulated fibers.
They are both friendly and used to being handled. Nooshig is low in the herd so will stand back to avoid being roughed by the ther goats but does enjoy being petted.

Currently we have Silver Lake Holly, a 4.5mo registered Mini Jersey heifer calf for sale. She was born Dec 11th 2015
She is working on halter breaking. Very sweet but shy little heifer.
Her Dame is Silver Lake Daisy a triple registered mini jersey (40in tall). Her sire is Silver Lake Remington a triple registered mini jersey. Holly is registered with the International Miniature Cattle Breeds Registry and the Miniature Jersey Herdbook and REgistry. Holly is A2/A2. She is horned. She has no bulldog genes. She has a DNA profile and parentage verification.

Currently we have Silver Lake Bluebell, 2yo registered Mini Jersey cow for sale. She was born Feb 2014 She is currently in MILK
She is halter broke. Very sweet friendly cow. We have just started milking her by hand. She stands well. We have only had her calf off for a week so will update on her milk production after she has settled to milking. She allows a second calf to suckle on her also.
Her Dame is Meadow Beauty Valentine a registered mini jersey. Her sire is Ochwilla Hills Adam a registered mini jersey. Bluebell is registered with the International Miniature Cattle Breeds Registry and The Mini Jersey Herdbook. She is A1/A2. She is horned. She has no bulldog genes. She has a DNA profile.
